After a Kitchari cleanse


THE 2 POST-CLEANSE days

After completing a cleanse, your body may continue to process toxicity for a few days and, your digestive system will have become used to a very clean and easy-to-digest diet… so you’ll have to ease into a more diverse diet to prevent reversing the benefits of your cleanse. This is NOT the time to celebrate with a burger and glass of wine!

  1. Eat cooked foods: they are easier to digest. Quinoa, spinach, sweet potatoes, rice are all nourishing options

  2. Avoid harder-to-digest foods like meats, cheese and pasta

  3. Upon waking, continue drinking warm water with lemon and a pinch of mineral salt to stay hydrated

  4. Sleep: Get at least 8 hours of sleep each night

  5. Workout: Gradually work up to your normal workout rhythm and intensity
