Stewed apples are a traditional Ayurvedic breakfast, especially during a period of cleanse. The reason why is that when you’ve just woken up, your tummy isn’t ready for a full-on meal and eating a simmered apple breaks your fast gently. Make multiple batches of the recipe below so you just have to heat it up the next mornings to come.
