We are on a mission to
We believe the world is better off when people take care of themselves. When you feel good, everyone wins. When your inner world is at ease, calm and grounded, then — and only then — can you focus your energy outwards to contribute to building a better outer world, for yourself and others. The quickest way to bring your body-mind into that state of 'inner happy' is through the foods you eat! So, at Yoom, we make it deliciously easy to cook high-vibe meals on the daily.

Rooted in Ayurveda
Yoom products and ways of working are rooted in India’s ancient health system — Ayurveda. Ingredients, recipes, flavors, rituals and processes are all informed by its 5,000-year-old teachings & principles.
What's AyurvedaGiving back
We give back to the birthplace of Kitchari & Ayurveda – India – by focusing on two of its most pressing issues:

Regenerative farming
& wildlife preservation
As an official member of 1% for the Planet, every year, we donate 1% of our company profits directly to our Indian non-profit partner — Navdanya — who focuses on ensuring the future of India’s ecosystem and small marginalized rural farmers through non violent biodiverse organic farming, sustainable agriculture & fair trade.

India’s next generation of leaders: girls
For every item sold, we donate a proceed of our sales directly to the Invisible Girl Project, a non-profit with a mission to end female gendercide in India. As a female-founded business – whose founder is the 3rd in a family of 4 girls – this issue is particularly dear to us. Girls in India are systemically under-valued, told they are worthless and subjected to terrible injustice like child labor, child marriage, infanticide, trafficking, sexual violence & more. We’re committed to help the Invisible Girl Project shed light on this atrocity, rescue girls, pursue justice and care for the education & future of its survivors.
Meet the founder

France Brunel
Meet the founder
Nice to meet you! I’m France, a certified Hatha yoga teacher and an in-training Ayurvedic practitioner.
I started Yoom when I discovered Kitchari, during
my yoga teacher training in Kerala, India. At the time,
my gut was completely off balance which meant I experienced constant bloating, brain fog, insomnia,
dull skin and overall anxiety. All of that stopped when I started eating Kitchari on a regular basis during my time there. It helped my digestion — and mood & energy levels — so much that, upon my return to NYC, I started making Kitchari packs for my friends to make
in their own homes! The rest is history, in the making...
