Deliciously spiced but not spicy, Kitchari (also known as khichdi, khichuri or kedgeree) is the plant-based “chicken soup” of India & its ancient health system: Ayurveda. While many eat it for gut repair, rejuvenation, detox and spiritual growth, it’s also enjoyed as an easy everyday meal that’s yummy & nutritious. Endlessly versatile and customizable, eating it feels like a hug in a bowl — each & every time.

Kitchari is the perfect option for lunch and dinner (or even breakfast!) and is well-suited for all Ayurvedic Mind-Body Types (doshas)

Eco friendly pack & delivery service

Eco friendly pack & delivery service

We send your orders via a carbon-neutral delivery service and package our Kitchari in 100% compostable plant-based pouches that are safe for home composting. Simply sepaprate the pouch from its paper bag topper, throw the bag topper in your recyclables and compost the pouch. If you don’t compost, it’s better to throw it out with your trash vs. with other recyclables. Compostable products can disrupt the recycling process but when they are placed in an open landfill where oxygen is available, they will decompose at a rate similar to other biodegradable materials in the same setting.
