Indulging, guilt-free
I’m not advocating that you indulge on junk food on a regular basis (or ever, for that matter!) but if you do, you should try to do so in the most relaxed state possible rather than feeling guilty about it.
WHY GUILT-FREE INDULGENCE IS HEALTHIER FOR YOU
Because when you’re tense or emotionally triggered, your nervous system is in fight-or-flight mode (when survival vs. digestion is the body’s priority), not rest-and-digest mode... making it harder for your body to digest food properly. So guilting out about eating a donut or having that 3rd cup of coffee will only make it harder for your system to digest it and will leave you feeling sluggish and bugged down.
