YOGA POSES TO REDUCE ANXIETY (AIR)
The yoga poses that are most suited for AIR types who often feel spacey, restless and anxious are calming and grounding. They also improve physical imbalances like constipation, lower back pain & joint pains. Aim for a slow and steady practice that creates warmth and nourishment.
Avoid: Active Sun salutations, Shoulder stand & Plow pose.
YOGA POSES TO CALM & BOOST MOOD (FIRE)
The best yoga poses for FIRE types are those that are calming and not overly heating. They help sedate their intensity and ease the emotions of anger that they are prone to. Plus they help with imbalances like ulcers, hyperacidity, liver issues & acne. FIRE types tend to overdo it so aim to practice at only 75% of your capacity.
Avoid: headstand & hot yoga.
