Rose latte

Rose latte.jpg

If you know me a little, you know I love warm milk lattes of all kind. Matcha, turmeric, pumpkin and now… rose! When my friend launched her own brand of flower adaptogens with Shangri-La Rose in its product line up, I decided to play around with a few recipes and ended up with this vibrant, pink & foamy drink!

In Ayurveda, we use rose water and petals to tame inflammation within the body and sooth physical stress (especially with FIRE individuals). Roses are cooling, anti-inflammatory in the digestive tract, and soothing to the heart especially when mixed with sweeteners. Due to its cleansing properties, rose water and petals support the liver in its constant effort to detox our body and promote regular elimination and glowing skin & hair.

This is the perfect caffeine & dairy-free beverage for all latte lovers out there. This recipe is very simple to make so feel free to customize it to your liking.
